-
Consult your doctor before using this device.
-
The Hydropump is intended for use by a single user.

When using a constriction ring care must be taken to ensure that the total time the ring is in place to maintain an erection does not exceed 15 minutes.
-
Do not use the Hydropump for more than 15 minutes in any period of 24 hours.
-
You must have full use of your hands, with the strength to operate the vacuum release mechanism. Decreased hand strength may make the safe removal of this device difficult.
-
You need to be in control of the product at all times, avoid falling asleep while using the Hydropump.
-
Do not use this device whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs as this may impair your judgement and increase the risk of injury to your penis.

How the Hydropump works
The Hydropump functions by creating a vacuum seal against the pubic area of the user enclosing the flaccid penis. When the pump is pushed downwards against the body, the bellows compress and air or water is ejected from the end of the pump via the open valve. When released, the bellows expand and the valve closes, creating a partial vacuum inside the pump, this causes the penis to expand and fill with blood, creating an erection. Re-pumping increases the vacuum, and so increases the size of the erection. Ensuring that your pubic area is reasonably well trimmed will facilitate the vacuum seal against the pelvic seat.
The vacuum can also be increased by use of the handball pump, until optimum vacuum and a full erection is achieved. If connected directly, note that the fit between the handball pump and the valve is designed to be anon-permanent connection. For this reason the handball pump should be held in position whilst in use, and removed when optimum vacuum is achieved. If a more permanent connection is desired, please use the hose connector.
The user controls the valve by rotating the valve cap clockwise to lock the valve and anticlockwise to unlock the valve. When the valve is locked, the internal vacuum cannot be released, this position is used when pumping or using the handball pump. When unlocked the valve cap can be pressed inwards, opening the valve and allowing air or water back into the body of the pump, thereby releasing the vacuum.
The black pip on the top of the valve is only used to hold the valve closed when filling the Hydropump with water in the shower, at other times it is left free to move within the valve body.
Using your Hydropump in Air
The Hydropump is generally used in air as a precursor to sexual activity and will normally be used with a constriction ring to assist maintaining an erection suitable for sexual intercourse. When using a constriction ring care must be taken to ensure that the total time the ring is in place to maintain an erection does not exceed 15 minutes. It is important that the penis and pubic area is lubricated with the VaxAid proprietary water-soluble lubricant to prevent irritation.
-
Apply lubricant to the shaft of the penis and genital area where the constriction ring will be fitted.
-
Select the correct size constriction ring and slide over the flaccid penis with the flat surface toward the body. Ensure the ring is aligned as shown. Fit it tightly against the pelvic seat, ensuring your testicles are well clear. Important: Do not leave the constriction ring in position for more than 15 minutes.
-
Lock the valve by rotating the valve cap (2)clockwise.
-
Slide the Hydropump over the penis with the chamfer(6) facing upwards or downwards depending on your level of comfort. Match upwith the constriction ring and compress the bellows to form a tight seal.
-
Apply the handball pump (11) directly to the valve cap(2) or via the hose connector (7) and begin to pump until an erection is achieved.
-
When the desired erection is achieved, remove the Hydropump by rotating the valve cap (2) anti-clockwise to unlock the valve, depress the valve cap inwards to release the vacuum. Slide the Hydropump off your penis, leaving the constriction ring in place to maintain your erection.
-
After sexual activity remove the constriction ring by stretching it apart and rotating the ring through 90⁰ - this will allow your penis to start to become flaccid and the ring may be comfortably removed.
-
Do not use the Hydropump for more than 15 minutes in any period of 24 hours.
Using your Hydropump in Water
The Hydropump is generally used in water for penile exercise. To benefit the most in erection hardness and optimal blood flow, it is best to remove the device every 2-3 minutes and allow the penis to retract. Massage the penis in the flaccid state, then re-apply the device and repeat the process. You should do this a maximum of 3 times in any 15 minute session. If you have purchased the optional shower strap, you can slide the connector onto the Hydropump leaving your hands free to wash.
-
Relax in the shower or bath for a few minutes.
-
Lock the valve by rotating the valve cap clockwise.
-
When using in the shower, push and hold the black pip into the closed position with your finger, remove the comfort insert (to prevent trapped air) then invert the Hydropump under the shower head until full of water. When using in the bath there is no need to hold the black pip in the closed position, simply fill with bath water.
-
Replace the comfort insert.
-
Whilst holding the black pip in the closed position, place the Hydropump over your flaccid penis tight up to your pelvic seat. The chamfer can be positioned facing either upwards or downwards depending on your level of comfort.
-
Make a seal against your body, ensuring that the positioning is comfortable and that your testicles are well clear.
-
With the Hydropump angled slightly upwards commence pumping.
-
Pump slowly and evenly until the bellows remain depressed, indicating that optimal vacuum has been achieved.
-
To increase the vacuum further and for more control, use the hand ball pump either with the hose or connected direct to the pump via the handball pump connector Please note, the fit between the handball pump and the Hydropump valve is designed to be a non-permanent connection. For this reason the handball should be held in position whilst in use, and removed when optimum vacuum is achieved. If a more permanent connection is desired, please use the hose connector.
-
To remove the Hydropump, unlock the valve by rotating the valve cap anti-clockwise and release the vacuum by depressing the valve cap inwards to activate the quick-release mechanism and slide the Hydropump off your penis.
-
Do not use the Hydropump for more than 15 minutes in any period of 24 hours.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Wash out your Hydropump with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow your Hydropump to dry and store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. In addition, you may wish to use VaxAid Pump Cleaner to keep your product hygienically clean. To maintain the hygiene of the Hydropump, it is advisable to remove the comfort pad for cleaning and storage. This prevents trapped water remaining between the insert and the bellows, which can also adversely affect the life of the product.
